Recently, the 2nd World Skills Competition of the People's Republic of China on Painting and Decoration, Graphic Design Technology and Product Display Technology in Chongqing came to an end in CQUST.

There were three events in the trial, namely paint and decoration , product display and graphic design. Twenty-two teams from 15 colleges and universities participated in the competition. The working group attached great importance to the competition and carefully organized it. Relevant experts before the competition studied, analyzed and repeatedly revised the competition schemes such as scoring rules, schedule arrangement and lot-drawing procedure. During the competition, the contestants were calm , operated carefully, showecased their excellent skills.

In terms of skill assessment, this competition meets the requirements of the National Skills Competition, provides a platform for the contestants to broaden their horizons, showcase their talents and improve their level, creates a good competition atmosphere of prioritizing fairplay and emphasizing skills, stimulates the enthusiasm and vitality of students in learning theory, technology and emphasizing practice, and plays an active role in deepening the teaching reform of skill education in colleges and universities and promoting the combination of talent cultivation and industrial development.
