On December 9, CQUST and Dadukou District government signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the district government office building. Li DeLong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, Shi Jinliang, Deputy Secretary and Vice President, and Xiao Dazhi, Vice President, attended the signing ceremony.

Leaders of the two sides held discussions and exchanges. At the signing ceremony, representatives of the two sides signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement Between Chongqing University of Science and Technology and People's Government of Dadukou District, Chongqing."

According to the agreement, the two sides will adhere to the scientific and technological innovation-driven development strategy. With a view to the strategic needs of sustainable economic and social development in Dadukou District and the needs of Chongqing University of Science and Technology to build a high-level applied University, the two sides will, on the basis of their respective advantages, focus on the construction of "Park Dadukou and Colorful Art Bay" and on the building of a collaborative innovation demonstration zone, be proactive in expanding new fields and ways of cooperation, in order to achieve common development of the two sides.
