The 5th National National Petroleum Geology Competition (NPGC) was held at Southwest Petroleum University from Oct. 23 to 24. After two days of fierce competition, our university won 21 awards, including one grand prize (the only one in the undergraduate group), five first prizes, nine second prizes and two third prizes. Three teachers were awarded as excellent instructors, and the university received the award of excellent organization. This is also the first time that our university won the Grand Prize in the comprehensive group since we participated in the event in 2016, and the final result established a new record in history for CQUST.
