Recently, the 4th National Metallurgical Science and Technology Competition for College Students was held in North China University of Science and Technology. Our students majoring in metallurgy engineering won one grand prize, two first prizes, three second prizes and four third prizes in this competition. The competition was sponsored by the MOE Steering Committee for Teaching of Materials at Higher Institutions and organized by North China University of Science and Technology. The competition aims to enhance college students' awareness of innovation in science and technology, broaden their scope of specialized knowledge, sharpen their process operation skills, and improve their engineering practice abilities.
