Recently, the 2021 China University Students' Taekwondo Championship, sponsored by China University Sports Association, executed by China University Sports Association Taekwondo Branch, and hosted byYancheng Teachers University, kicked off in the gymnasium of Xinchang Campus of Yancheng Teachers University. The competition attracted more than 1,100 athletes from 138 universities across China, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University Nanjing University and Xiamen University. The taekwondo sports team of CQUST led by team head Zhu Haitao and coach Pengyun fought competition. After five days of fierce contest, Zeng Yuying, a freshman girl from the College of Mechanical and Power Engineering, won the first runner-up in the73KG division.
