On the morning of July 1, the ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. An important speech was delivered by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission .

The whole university listened to and watched the live broadcast of the meeting in various ways. More than 400 people including leaders of the University, members of the Standing Committee of the CQUST CPC committee, leaders at or above the deputy director level of the university (including organizers and discipline inspectors), all staff of functional departments , the Logistics Department , and all faculty of the School of Marxism listened and watched in the university auditorium. The 2020 student military training corps organized 60 companies with more than 5000 people to listen and watch. The Party general branches of each school organized teachers and students without classes or duties to listen to and watch the live broadcast of the celebration ceremony in classrooms, conference rooms, activity rooms and other places.
